No, My Smart City is not the municipality. We are here to help you communicate with your city more effectively. While we work closely with city services, we are an independent platform designed to give you a voice and help get things done.
My Smart City is your all-in-one platform for engaging with your city. You can log service delivery issues and track progress. Beyond that, you can book trusted service providers, buy airtime and data, and access a growing range of helpful tools – all in one place.
When searching for your city, first check which municipality it falls under – for example, Somerset West is part of the City of Cape Town Municipality. If you still can’t find it, get in touch with us! We’re continually expanding and onboarding new cities.
My Smart City uses your location to help you log issues quickly and accurately. This allows our ‘Quick Log’ feature to pinpoint your position, saving you time and ensuring the right information is sent to the municipality. Your location is only used to improve your experience and is never shared without your permission.
